Beyond Vision Testing

Dry Eye Testing—Dry eye affects millions of people, and is more than just an irritation. Left untreated, Dry Eye can cause serious irritation to the eye, sometimes resulting in damage to the cornea. At Piedmont Eye Associates, we use InflammaDry, the first and only in-office testing product for dry eye disease. InflammaDry detects MMP-9, a specific marker which is found elevated in the tears of people with Dry Eye disease.
